Nampa

Nampa is a city located in the Treasure Valley, just a short drive from Boise, and is the second largest city in Idaho. This city is less populous than Boise, with around 100,000 people, and is roughly 33 square miles. It has incredible mountain views as it borders the Rocky Mountains to the north and the Owyhee Mountains to the South. Nampa has more rural properties and land than Boise or Meridian and hosts large agricultural factories and fields, which are essential to Idaho’s economy. There are gorgeous subdivisions, new and old, and houses on larger plots of land compared to the city. The historic downtown area offers local business, cafes, bars, and even a local favorite speakeasy… if you can find it.

One of the most popular attractions is the Snake River Stampede, a favorite rodeo that brings people from all over the country. St. Chapelle Winery hosts summer concerts yearly and is a gorgeous attraction for anyone looking to go wine tasting. The Idaho Center and Nampa Civic Centers are large event centers that feature family-friendly events, community events, and well-known musicians. And if none of those options pique your interest, the surrounding mountains and local favorite, Lake Lowell, offer countless activities such as hiking, fishing, boating, and biking. It is more affordable than the city of Boise, with downtown just a short drive away and plenty to do in the town of Nampa itself. However, with the gorgeous new construction and beautiful backyards, you may never want to leave home.
